THE GREENBRIER INTRODUCES BBQ MASTERY
Aspiring Grill Masters Can Learn From the Industry’s Best!
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV, September 13, 2007 – The Greenbrier resort’s popular barbecue classes are taking a new twist this year with the introduction of BBQ Mastery at The Greenbrier. This culinary event will give grill lovers everywhere the opportunity to receive a crash course in grilling and barbecuing meat. Three of the nation’s most well-known barbecuers will be providing hands-on instruction during these 3-day events being held the summer of 2008.
BBQ Mastery at The Greenbrier is unlike other culinary events in that guests can choose from three weekends to participate in 2008: July 13 - 16 and August 17 – 20. This unique weekend includes daily barbecue demonstrations and classes, where participants can learn new grilling techniques to take home. Class topics include Whole Hog Demo, How to Build a Fire That Lasts, Chicken and Ribs and Rub Making are limited to 50 students each. The chefs/instructors will also have the opportunity to take part in book signing with “Dr. BBQ,” who has written three cookbooks and has garnered hundreds of awards in barbecue contests in 25 years.
This weekend package include three nights’ room accommodations, a welcome reception, daily BBQ demonstrations and classes from 9 am – 1pm, a night cook and daily lunch in the classroom, prepared by the students.
